Alan Turing played a major role in winning the Second World War by breaking the German Enigma code. Because his work remained classified, the public did not know how much was owed to him when he was prosecuted for homosexuality.

Hugh Whitemore’s biographical drama asks who Turing was, what happened to him and why. Dionysus presented the production in Brighton in the summer of 2022.
