The production
The Hollow is waiting.
Autumn, 1820. Young constable Ichabod Crane arrives in a secluded Dutch farming community to investigate three unexplained deaths. He believes every mystery has a rational explanation. Sleepy Hollow has other ideas.
As the legend of the Headless Horseman closes around him, Crane finds a community shaped by inherited fear, buried grief and dangerous loyalties. The haunting is real, and the human secrets at its heart are every bit as unsettling.
Sound. Shadow. Light. Movement.
A village brought to life.
The adaptation makes the village itself part of the storytelling. Familiar faces become the people, memories and warnings of the Hollow.
The developing production uses sound, shadow, light and movement to suggest the Horseman and build a world in which the supernatural and the human are inseparable. Detailed staging and the technical specification will follow as development progresses.
Audiences & marketing
An autumn programming conversation.
The production offers a natural connection with audiences drawn to gothic fiction, classic literature, supernatural stories and atmospheric live theatre. The planned touring window includes the autumn and Halloween season.
We welcome conversations about your venue’s audience, campaign timing and materials. Approved campaign artwork and our announcement trailer are available; further press materials and production photography will follow as the show develops.
